First, gather the top section of your hair (the best estimate is from ear to ear) and clip it to the top of your head.

Taking two inch sections of the rest of you hair, roll it up and secure it with bobby pins. Do this with the entire bottom section.

Secure with a few more bobby pins to ensure that the hair will not fall out.

Release the hair from the clip. If your hair still has some long pieces, you can pin them back with the other hair underneath.

Hairspray and style the hair as desired.
