Makeup Moxie: More DiorShow Mascara.

The DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum and Primer boasts:
The Dior Innovation Center has tested Diorshow Maximizer for efficiency and found amazing results after only 8 weeks use: + 52% Volume, +38% Length, + 73% Curl. Studies also showed that lashes were more resilient, protected, and revitalized.
To which I respond, [cough]bull shit. Now I am no chemist, but when I purchased this product, it was with absolutely zero expectation as to the "unique cell-conditioning complex made up of hydrolyzed soy proteins that promote long-term lash growth, strength, and vitality" actually making a damned difference. As expected, this serum did squat in that department (despite the sales girl trying to convince me to apply it twice a day - what? so I can run out faster and buy more sooner?).
Anywho, my original aim was to see if the primer would be any good. At the time, I was still searching for a good mascara that was relatively easy to remove. Here is what I can report: as a primer, this stuff helps almost any mascara closely replicate DiorShow Black Out without the torturous removal process. This only makes fiscal sense if you (as I did) are using freebie mascaras that you collected over time. Somehow or other, I wound up with quite the assortment of free high end mascaras. In this case, the $28 investment helped me go through several tubes I otherwise wouldn't touch. Having used up my freebies, however, it now makes more sense to just buy DiorShow and be done with it. Who wants to apply primer followed by mascara at 6:30am? Not me!
